Desert Hydration

Even in November the desert air is extremely dry — you'll lose moisture faster than you realise. Drink water constantly on the course, not just when thirsty. Carry a large refillable bottle, apply high-SPF sunscreen (the Arizona sun is strong at elevation), and wear a hat. Most courses provide water stations at the turn.
